Outdoor Event Industry Leadership Forum to come to together at Event Production Show
Written by Kevin Lawson, 3rd February 2017
The National Outdoor Events Association (NOEA) and GL Events will come to together at this year’s Event Production Show to create the Outdoor Events Industry Leadership Forum.
The forum, bringing senior figures in the world of outdoor events together to address the long-term future of the industry, will take place as part of UK Events Week (27th February - 5th March 2017) and will be a closed session with representatives from around 20 organisers, production companies and suppliers taking part.
The forum will discuss the future of ticketing, event technology, macro-economic factors, the physical make-up of future outdoor events and industry commercialisation.
“One of the objectives of NOEA this year is to understand the industry that we are entering in 2017 and beyond, and to share findings with our members,” said Andy Grove, interim president of NOEA. “We’re working to bring some of the key people in this industry together, and to scope out the areas we need to investigate to get an insight into what the future brings for outdoor events.”
The will take place on the first day of the Event Production Show on 1st March, the same day as the Event Production Awards where Event Genius & Ticket Arena have been shortlisted for Best Ticketing Company.
